Spring Prayer letter

April 2008

Dear Friends

Thank you to all who prayed for us during our visit to Romania and Ukraine in February. Even though we did not have the best travelling weather, fog, snow and temperatures down to -9C, everything went very well. We even had the very pleasant suprise of staying in a very comfortable new hotel as guests of the owners. We enjoyed seeing everyone again, and greeting the new arrivals in the Haures family. The whole programme was very busy and it seemed no time at all before we were travelling back home again totally exhausted. As I write this we are planning our next visit which starts on May 14th. This trip will not be so pressured, and promises to be warmer than last time. It will be all the more enjoyable because we are being joined by Colin Stringer the pastor of Soham Baptist Church. Colin will be speaking to the two sets of bible students in Suceava on consecutive Saturdays. A visit to Ukraine is planned for one Sunday and various churches in the evenings during the week. An itinerarary plan is on the reverse of this letter.

David still has pain problems, no solution has been found, the conclusion drawn is scar tissue from a very old injury affecting a nerve. The sessions with the osteopath are very helpful.

Nancy continues to be alright, currently recovering from a stomach bug (as are many others) Praise God: For continued health and strength.

Pray for: The planning, travel and teaching involved in the May visit.

Colin Stringer and the two bible school groups. That Colin will find freedom of expression is not hampered by working with an interpreter.

That the visits to churches will be helpful and a blessing to both speakers and hearers.

Wisdom and finance for future visits planned for August and maybe October.

With our love in Christ
